Artists and the Artistic Line

How Bodjaro selects Artists?

Bodjaro unearths and selects emerging Artists capable of transmitting emotions. Thanks to their creativity and their talent, they regularly enrich the artistic offer in order to offer you Unique and Quality Artworks. All Artists are affiliated professionals residing in France. Find out more about the Artists

Do the proposed Artworks follow an Artistic Line?

Yes, Bodjaro Paintings follow an Artistic Line. The representations are generally pictorial and stylized. The colors and the relief of the brush stroke reveal the sensitivity of the Artists. The latter often free themselves from details and seek to provoke the imagination and emotions of the viewer. To guide you, each Artwork belongs to an artistic "Style" and refers to one or more "Themes".

"Styles" correspond to the "artistic process" used to represent a scene or a character. Artists draw inspiration from the major trends in Art History (for example the Naïve style, the Abstract style, etc.) while adding their personal touch. The Bodjaro Artistic Line covers 6 Styles, in unequal proportions, depending
of the sensitivity of the Artists.

The "Themes" correspond to the scene depicted. For example, a Canvas representing a couple holding hands could belong to the Themes "Love and
Tenderness" and "Characters and Life Scenes". The Artistic Line is defined around 12 Themes, also used in unequal proportions: some themes are more popular than others, whether among Artists or Clients. Find out more about the Artistic Line

Paintings marketed at Bodjaro

What sizes are available and how do I choose?

Three complementary sizes are available on the Store: "6F" (41x33 or 33x41 cm), "20F" (73x60 or 60x73 cm) and "40F" (100x81 or 81x100 cm). They are part of the traditional French Fine Arts Formats (F stands for Figure). The "6F" is ideal for small rooms with little distance (corridor, stairwell, entrance, small bedroom, WC, bathroom). For a living room or a large bedroom, the "20F" is often more suitable, but a "6F" may also be suitable depending on the desired effect, the available distance, the free surface on the wall, etc. Finally, the "40F" size is mainly suitable for large rooms with generous volumes. You can consult Decoration Tips to narrow down your choice. Do not hesitate to call us.

Are the pictures representative of the Artworks?

Yes, the high-definition pictures correspond precisely to the Artworks because they are unique Paintings, already painted, photographed and stored in the Workshop. In order to avoid any surprises, the Canvases are photographed from all angles, down to the smallest details.

What are the characteristics of the Paintings?

The characteristics of the Artworks (Artist, Technique, Size, etc.) are all mentioned when you consult their "Detailed Page". All Artworks comply with a demanding Quality Charter. For example, they are all painted on Fine-Art quality linen canvas stretchers and are varnished with the greatest care. Find out more about the Quality Charter.

How are the prices of Paintings set?

The prices of the Artworks are defined by Size and are identical from one Artist to another. They include home delivery with signature. Taxes are included for all orders delivered in Metropolitan France, Monaco and within the European Union.
For all orders outside the European Union / Monaco, delivery is considered as an importation of goods for the recipient Customer. Customs fees and/or local taxes may be claimed by the customs and tax authorities of your country of destination. These additional costs are not included in the prices of the Paintings. Generally, these costs are notified to you by the carrier in charge of delivery at the time of customs clearance in order to release the goods. You can pay them online on the carrier's website or directly to the delivery person when the option is available. If in doubt, you can contact Bodjaro Customer Service before ordering in order to obtain additional information on these taxes.

Bodjaro Quality

How to ensure the Quality of the marketed Artworks?

Quality is the heart of the concerns of the Bodjaro Brand. All the marketed Artworks have been checked in detail and comply with a demanding Quality Charter on many aspects: quality of the linen-covered frame, selection of professional Artists residing in France, edge finishes and varnishing, fixing supports, careful delivery and real customer service in France to advise you. Find out more about the Quality Charter

What is the quality and durability of the Canvas over time?

The lifespan of a Bodjaro Canvas is several decades, even centuries! All Bodjaro Artworks are painted on top quality 100% linen canvas. Linen offers much better stability over time than cotton because it is not very sensitive to humidity and has very little elasticity. Linen is the reference support for Artists for its optimal conservation qualities, its touch and its softness. In addition, each canvas is stretched on a Fine-Arts quality stretcher, made in France from fir from the Vosges Region and with canvas tension keys.

What finishes are made on the Paintings?

Bodjaro markets Paintings ready to be immediately hung without framing and without the slightest knowledge of DIY. Indeed, in accordance with the Quality Charter, the edges of the Artworks are painted, most of the time in the main colors of the Painting. The Canvases are varnished, including the painted edges, in order to be protected. Finally, mounting brackets have been fixed and checked by the teams.

Are the Paintings sold by Bodjaro unique?

Each Artwork sold is Unique and Original. The Paintings of the same Artist can sometimes be artistically close and present similarities or be the subject of a Series. Each Painting is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity completed and signed by the Artist. This describes the main characteristics of the Artwork (title, size, orentation, Artist, year, etc.) and certifies its authenticity.

Payments

What are the accepted payment methods?

Bodjaro accepts the main payment methods by Bank Card: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, etc.

Are payments secure?

Yes, online payment is fully encrypted, protected and secure. All online payments by credit card are made via the SSL/TLS security protocol which allows the encryption of your bank details during their transmission to secure banking servers. This implies that no banking information concerning you passes through our Shop. The "3D secure" protocol makes it possible to secure the payments you make by credit card, and avoid fraudulent use.

Delivery

How are the Paintings shipped?

The Artworks are carefully packaged in tailor-made packages with quality and eco-responsible materials. The cardboard is double corrugated, the adhesive is in kraft and the plastic bubble wrap has given way to embossed cardboard, 100% recycled and recyclable, FSC certified. Strong, neat and environmentally friendly packaging. Shipping is fast as the Paintings are all by default available (they are unique) and ready to be shipped directly from the Company.

How does the delivery of the Paintings work and how much does it cost?

The Company delivers to many destinations around the world. To find out if we deliver to your address, you can select your destination from the drop-down menu in the footer of the site or when entering your delivery address at checkout. If unfortunately your destination is not displayed, it is because we do not yet deliver to this address.

Considering the value of the packages, deliveries are made to your home, with the recipient's signature. Deliveries are ensured by carriers recognized for their seriousness and quality of service. You will be able to track your package "normally" to the chosen address based on the tracking number of the package that we will send to the contact email address you have entered. Do not hesitate to contact us.

What to do if the Painting received is damaged?

Thanks to the know-how and the quality of the tailor-made packaging, it is extremely rare for a Artwork to be damaged during the journey. We recommend that you open the package in the presence of the delivery person, especially if you observe suspicious traces of shock. If the Painting is indeed damaged, we advise you to take several photos of the damaged Painting, but also of the packaging and the label, and finally refuse the delivery. You must then contact us within 48h to proceed with the refund.

Can I return the Canvas if I am not satisfied?

Yes, for any order delivered within the European Union, you can return the Painting to us free of charge within 14 days of receipt of your Artwork, the postage date being taken as proof. In accordance with the General Conditions of Sale (GCS), you must enclose a letter requesting exercise of the right of withdrawal and add it to the return package in addition to the invoice. Transport costs are at your expense and under your responsibility. If the returned Canvas is in its original condition, we will refund you within 14 days.

I just received the Painting, how do I hang it on my wall?

Mounting brackets have been fixed and calibrated; the cord slides for a perfect balance of the Canvas whatever the wall. The Painting is thus ready to be hung immediately after unpacking. All you have to do is hammer in a nail. Be aware that if you do not want to make a hole in your wall, there are adhesive fixings (without trace) available in most supermarkets.
